RADIO FREQUENCY SHIELDED DOORS
The door is the most important part of any shielded facility and therefore the design and quality of construction is essential. EEP shielded doors have a ‘knife edge’ frame that fits into a channel in the door leaf containing 2 rows of copper beryllium (CuBe) contacts. This design ensures an excellent conductive contact around the complete door opening which is the key to the high levels of RF performance.

EEP Ltd design a wide range of shielded doors to meet all performance levels and applications both internal and external.
As most shielding projects are unique EEP Ltd can design or adapt our designs to meet specific needs. These can include manual, electric or pneumatic latches, all types of locks, weather and NBC (nuclear, biological chemical) seals, thermal or acoustic insulation and blast protection.
